20-17
What a joke that prediction was, let DC talk me into betting her heart. She had fun and got a big laugh over the tarps behind the Texas bench. I didn't believe her until that reporter talked about it. Her girls wanted to leave during the second quarter and went clubbing. DC is always up for a Dirty Martini.
Oklahoma is having some trouble. I didn't get to see the game so don't know how good or bad it was, but seems KSU kept it close. Any one of the next three can beat OU. Stoops better work hard to keep OU focused. I think if OU blinks, one maybe two will beat them out of sheer luck, sad to say it could be Nebraska is one of them.
OSU is 6-2 and I see them at 9-2 when they get to Norman. They may be 8-4 or even worse, but it

A young man faces charge for something he did during a football game. During a play he knocked the opposing players helmet off. He then proceed to head butt the defenseless player. I am thinking that probably there were some words exchanged resulting in the head butt.
Football is a violent angry sport. Twenty-two men hurl themselves at each other either trying to gain yards or trying to keep them from gaining yards. There is no other sport that comes so close to the gladiators of Rome.
Players are coached to hit hard, the harder the better. Don't intentionally hurt someone, but if you can put the guy out of the game that would be great. What? All great players play angry, you have to hate the opposing team, you want to hurt that

Sorry I have not been around. I know you missed me. NOT!
Glad Sam Bradford did the smart thing. Money may not be everything, but it pays the bills. Amazing kid and I am sorry to see him go, especially with OSU coming up, but take the shirt off their backs and demand more! Pull an Eli Manning and go somewhere good. Oh and whatever you do...stay away from my Raiders!
Been on Orangepower.com the last week because I live in a house devided. DC beat me in fantasy fooball last year and I'm paying off my bet. OSU plays Texas this weekend on Halloween night. The students wanted to do a black out. They wanted the team to wear black uniforms. The shool nixed that pronto.
I remember when the Pokes wore black, think it was a little unlucky for them. Something
...So Jim, if you have never played football or never played baseball -like you- then anything you have to say is stupid? So what does that make your side kick? You accused Berry Tramel of taking a shot at you because he mentioned that you played baseball in Japan and Mexico, but your not taking a shot at your sidekick? Al Eschbach has never played a sport so he must be stupid, right? Bob Costas is stupid, right?
Berry Tramel pointed out that you think everybody -including this country- is sissified, but you want Oklahoma to be a sissy and only play beatable teams. You are so feeble minded that you don't see how that is hypocritical and instead call Berry stupid. Just because you played sports in college and barely made it to the pros in baseball that doesn't make you the
...Jim Traber and Al Eschbach think that Lou Holtz is an embarrassment to ESPN. These two are an embarrassment to The Sports Animal, but are to stupid to see that!
Jim Traber who yells and screams at anyone who disagrees with him, who calls people names and hangs up when he can't win a point. Jim Traber is a bully and so feeble minded he can hardly blow his nose, that is truely an embarrassment to The Sports Animal.
Al Eschbach who has never in his life played a sport, but knows more than a coach who has won national championships. He insults little people and thinks it is funny, he tells jokes and stories that any five year old wouldn't tell. That is an embarrassment.
These two blow holes think everybody but them are idiots and an embarrassment.

OMG! Baylor has a better record than the mighty Sooners. I predict no bowl game for Oklahoma this year and that will make 7 years in a row with no bowl win. My thoughts go out to Sam Bradford; I never like seeing anyone get hurt. So now let us take stock here, Boise State is 5-0 and the Sooners are 3-3. One fan says that Texas won against the 2nd string QB and offensive line and 4th string TE, just another excuse by the Sooner fans. Oklahoma got beat far and square and now everyone is scrambling to find a reason why. That part is easy, Texas is a better team. This was a hard fought defensive struggle and Oklahoma played their hearts out and all the on air people can do is put them down. Christ guys where the hell is your loyalty? Criticize the play calling by the coaching staff,

I happen to hear Jim Tarber today talking about what a joke it was that people thought if Boise State goes undefeated that they deserved a shot at the National Championship. My bet is if it was OU going undefeated and was not being allowed to compete for the title he would blow a gasket. How many times has he said OU should be playing cream puff teams before Big 12 action, just like all they other big time schools? How many times has he said you can't say a certain team will win until they line up and play the game? How many Big 12 teams besides Texas are on the same level as OU? So it seems to me that OU in their league is like Bosie State in their league.
Once upon a time I bet people all over the country were against OU playing in big time bowl games. Everytime OU goes

We are only hours away from the fiercested college rivalries, The Red River Shootout! There is no other like it in the country, the Texas-OU game is always tough, hard hitting and close.
Sam Bradford is back in the lineup and looked fair in the win over Baylor. The again it was Baylor and he did tweak his knee when he tried to throw while scrambling. He will be leading an offense that has been producing 269.2 yards per game running and 187.8 yards per game passing, for which he has only been there for a little more than one game...can you say Landry Jones? He will have DeMarco Murry and Chris Brown running against a team who gives up only 233.0 yards per game running...can you say long day. With Ryan Broyles most likely out, Brandon Caleb will need to step up and bring the rest
...I really like the Sports Animal, but it seems there are some on air personalities who can dish it out but can not take it. Bob Barry Jr. is fantastic, he can see both sides of a question and never gets angry with a caller. Mark Rodgers sometimes makes points I don't agree with, but his points are always valid and I don't think I have ever heard him get mad at a caller. I am not hot about Cary Murdock, Coach Pat Jones or Craig Humphreys, but they are all very knowledgeable and I have no problem with listening to them. John Rhode and Barry Tramel need to have the 2:00 to 8:00 slot and have full time positions with the Animal.
The gentlemen (and I use that term loosely) who currently occupy these time slots need (to be kind) anger management classes. The other day I was
