On a day that saw inspiring history made for our country, and moments after the swearing in of President Obama. I too took an Oath. I was sworn in as the newest member of Crosstrainers Gym in Yukon. My Oath was simple, to the best of my ability ( and my wallet ) pay my bill every month. I will follow through with that promise. No worries there. Yep, it's time to reacquaint myself with...( dramatic tension builds ) " The Beast ".
more on that later...
The country has profound hope as a new leader takes the wheel, and I have seen where I will be spending a whole lot more of my time. It's a reunion of sorts for me, this was the gym I belonged to during my first reclamation back in 2005. This will also be the backdrop for my newest incarnation. The dawn of a new me is at hand, I have given up junk food and spending time in the drive-thru lane at my local burger chain. Ya know what? It feels pretty good so far.
The easy part is done, all that's left is to make good on my promise to "Finish" what I've started. There's only one thing giving me pause...one thing that's making me wonder about what I've done. The dreaded first day back at the gym. On that day we'll see if this dog's bite is as good as his bark...anybody got a leash?
