Brothers Blake and Taylor Griffin did all

they could but Oklahoma lost to Missouri 73-64 in

Big 12 basketball Wednesday night in Columbia,

Mo.

 

   Surprisingly, no other members of the Oklahoma

basketball team showed up for the nationally-

televised league game.

 

   The Griffin brothers were left to try and beat

the Tigers by themselves,  a tough task for the

Lakers or the Celtics.. much less a college

basketball team.

   Sure, it sounds extreme.  It's basically what

happened to the Sooners in the loss at Mizzou.

This was supposed to be a statement game for

Oklahoma.  The Sooners were going to be back.

They were ready to show the world they are

still the best team in the Big 12 and worthy of a

number-one seed.

 

   The only statement the Sooners made.. We

are a team in disarray.

 

   OU's guards looked like zombies out of the Night

of the Living Dead.. no passion.. no effort.. a

completely lax attitude that led to Mizzouri's

guards handing them their jocks and laughing

in their face.

 

   Who knows what happened to these guys.

Is it class? Girlfriends? A lockerrom soap opera?

No one knows the real story.

 

   The sad part is as we move to the final chapter

it looks like the Sooners are coming apart at the

seams.  This comes just ten days after my brilliant

last blog.. Sooners Should Be Fine.  Man, was I way

off on that one!

 

   Some of these guys need to grow up or go have

their hearts checked.. or else their NCAA Tourney

Appearance will feel a lot more like the Al Eschbach

Invitational...  See yaaaaaaaaaaa!!! after the early

rounds.
